Where you holidaying this summer?

The Troyster is taking the family to Northern Spain for a week. Back for Juve of course.
It's all inclusive (packs extra stretchable waist pants) cos the wife says we save money that way?! 2 and half bags for a week?!?
Anyone risking it down to Algeria / Egypt ?
Cant say I fancy Turkey either at the moment...

Albania again for us this year.
Sort of house swap with the local drug dealer.

The Cyclades again this time flying to Mykonos then ferry to Paros the same day for 4 nights. Then short hop to Anti Paros for 5 nights then a night on Mykonos before flight back.
Also having a few days at Lulworth Cove Inn in August.

Beautiful place Scotland. If you like driving, drive the A82 down to Fort William or the A87 to Eilean Donan castle (of Highlander fame), both good drives. If you are going mid summer beware the midges, they'll eat you alive, best time I've found is September. Enjoy.

Fivetide. If we do it will be from Punta arenas but is expensive, got plenty of time to save but main problem would be I'd have to miss a fair bit of the other stuff which I fancy more. Father in law worked in Tierra Del Fuego years ago when Pinochet took over in Chile and he said his only regret was not going to Antarctica when there

Skipped turkey last year because of shit going on, been there 5 years before wiv the kids. Fuerventa last year,,siddari in Corfu this year. Got to repay the missues taking her away for her 50th, she took me to Mexico in Feb, she fancies Montego Bay, any good??

Yes I did Orwells, but not the Sunday night thing, the first Sunday we thought we would leave it to the next Sunday and when the next Sunday came along we were really enjoying ourselves at the beech bar and couldn't be bothered.
I not sure Calvi was windy at all Pick's, must have a different time of year.

Only mentioned it cos you mentioned Barca. Pretty much everything there is in Barca is in Rome (pavement cafes and bars etc, plush restaurants and a half decent nightlife, plus a big selection of museums etc) but admittedly Rome is a bit more dirty, but I personally preferred it, and I found it a fair bit cheaper.
